Not looking for answers just complaining! MPG

2019 Rebel 4x4 5.7. Never expected it to be great but I did expect a little better than the 2017 Rebel I had...same 5.7 (avg 18mpg)
I commute 80 miles and 90% of that is highway. Avg mpg is lucky to top 16!

Sure, we could say winter gas or heavy foot or whatever but I drive the same and fill up at the same stations as the previous truck so those arent valid reasons.
The 2019 Ive had for about 6 months and it didnt start getting that low mpg...they were on par with previous truck. I noticed the difference as soon as I put on the RamAir intake but I hate to think I spend $800 to shoot myself in the foot

I get the same in my 2021 warlock. I drive the same as you 80 miles a day 90 percent hwy cruise at 72mph if I go 75mph I get 15mpg. I have 10300 miles and I get 16-16.5 mpg

Did you do actual numbers on both trucks and not just DIC numbers?

Actual numbers on my 2010 w/110k were 10 city/16 hwy. Had a Vararam intake, 93 octane tune, Pedal Commander & Hemi tick.
Traded it for a 2013 Charger R/T Max w/90k and now get 16 city/25 hwy with a JLT intake, Pedal Commander & no tick.
I think they must use different exhaust manifolds for the cars, it's the quietest Hemi I've ever had.

lol, half of the damn posts throughout this forum are complaints about fuel economy. Hi I would like to drive a giant brick on wheels, but I also HAVE to get 30mpg, and this all needs to be done pulling my 10k trailer...(sarcasm)... if you want fuel economy go buy a cute little Prius, your *** will appreciate it.

It's the spark plugs that cause the fuel economy issue, if has them that's the problem.
