The 35’s rub and I have a 3” lift -18 offset

I’ve got 35’s with a -24
A 2.5 level from Rough Country and I don’t have any rub. I taken all of the measurements and I have room for 37’s. And will be going with an aggressive M/T 37” on my next set.
Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s is what’s on it now.
Added: I’ve also got 3” pocket flares.

gotta say i like the black fender flares on your truck. if i as going flares i'd do black as well. maybe its cause my tacoma had the factor riveted flairs and i got used to the look. the colour matched with no rivets don't stand out enough for me.

Thanks to everyone, looks like most seem to like them so I’m going to give them some time and see if they grow on me.

Lol I have 35x12.5 already. Can’t go 37 on this lift.

my neighbor has a stock 1500 with 33's and 20's with no fender flares and i have 20's with 35x12.5's and the fender flares and my tires look same as his because of the flares unless you park them side my side

Looking pretty damn good to me.

but agreed i think it looks REALLY NICE! please tell me you used paint protection film (the clear vinyl stuff) under the rubber gasket! I made the mistake of not doing that

Lol I’m not big on those either, I’m not sure if I’ll keep them on or not. I’m going to give it a few weeks and if they don’t grow on me I’ll take em off.

Not sure if you know this or not but from my past experience, if you give it more than a couple weeks you won't be able to take them off. The grit / dirt gets between flare and paint and rubs the clear coat off leaving a permanent line. If you decide on keeping i would put some paint protection tape between. There are a couple of write-ups on this.

I have tape on the way, just checked them and all is good. I wasn’t going to do the tape until I decided to keep them on. I’m getting ready to ceramic this thing so they will probably come off until that is done, then tape and reinstall.

Its the offset. Not sure how Mcbrooms fit but ideal offset for max clearance on these 2500s is +18mm you can fit 37s on those on stock with minimal to no rub.
But +18 wouldn’t stick out much lol. I wanted the wheels to sit outside the wheel wells. But yes the offset causes the rubbing.

Stocks like 54mm the 18mm will stick out just not as much. I believe 1 inch is what 25mm so roughly like 1/2 inch past stock flares. I did spacers on mine figured there around 12mm going to upgrade eventually to methods Im thinking.

Update, I removed the flares and will reinstall after I ceramic. I also have tape to apply after the ceramic. I had them on 4 days and I had to wet sand and buff to remove the scratches from the flares, that’s crazy!
