Hey guys, new here. I'm having a problem with my 01 ram 5.2 5 speed NV3500. I bought it with a bad throw out bearing and worn clutch. I replaced all of that, as well as brand new master/slave cyl assembly, and fresh pennzoil synchromesh oil in the transmission.
The truck will often grind while shifting into 2nd gear, and always grinds when downshifting to 2nd gear. To the point where you cannot get it into gear sometimes. I think the 2nd gear synchro is toast.
Now I have a spare NV3500 from a 1995 Dakota 5.2L. Can I just swap that one in and be on my way? Thanks for any advice!
