OBD Splitter

Problem: Have a Scosche (AutoZone) split adapter so I can run remote start plus leave open another port for diagnostics etc. Signed back up for Uconnect with T-Mobile 4G adapter ($99) since 3G will not be supported end of year allegedly. It seems the splitter will not power the adapter on only works via direct install. Anyone have this issue or is there a name brand splitter that you have that is different than the Scosche brand? Thanks.

Plugged it in to the vehicle OBD and then my Amp steps and finally my 4g adapter. Everything works as advertised. 2017/1500/Hemi.

Mine works well too, had a bad splitter initially.
