Odd Noise

Not quite sure what this could be. There is a hissing noise followed by a chirping noise. Noticed it the other morning. Seems to only appear during a cold start, but I know it wasn't doing this before..

Mine sounded similar to that but was also there when the truck was warmed up. Ended up being my water pump.

Thank you for that. Any clue on what caused the pump to go bad?

No idea. Dealer didn't say. At 3000 miles, water pump and fan clutch went bad on mine.

Change the Idler pully? I had that chirping noise, but not the hissing.
