2022 Ram 1500 classic 5.7 4x4 31,400 miles completely stock, regular oil changes every 5000/6000 miles, owned since new

I've noticed this odd noise on my truck that only happens during cooler weather and only on initial driving. After the truck warms up it goes away. The noise is like a resonance or vibration that occurs just after the shift and starts at about 1500 rpm and stops around 2000 rpm. Any ideas what this might be? It doesn't sound like a heat shield rattling I used to have that happen on a Nissan I drove.

I also have been having the random transmission issues when coming up to a stop sign or light when the truck downshifts it feels like someone rear ended you. It sounds like that seems to be a common problem with the 8 speeds though.

Does the truck have the 2 piece driveshaft with a center bearing? If it does it might be the back shaft needs a bit of lube on the splines.

It's a one piece. Roughly sounds like the noise is coming from the front but hard to tell. It's too quiet to hear it over the wind noise with the window down

Buy or borrow a set of Chassis Ears and see if you can pinpoint the noise with them. Lots for sale on amazon for a 100 bucks or less.
