Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the odometer on a 2010 ram 2500? I hit a million kms and ran out of digits so it’s stuck at 999999 kms. I’d like to reset that back to zero so I can get it working again. Of course I’ll document the change to keep everything legal. I tried alfaOBD but the odometer correction is not available in the instrument panel menu. Any ideas?

You should Contact Ram and see if they'll donate you a new truck. This is PR gold!

That being said, AlfaOBD "might" be able to do it. It does so easily on the 2013+ classics.

Edit: Just read the rest of your post and I see the problem. AlfaOBD doesn't even list that as an option for 2009-2012. You could always switch to miles to lower the reading? Still a unit of measure but it will take longer to timeout...

see if any of these shops are fairly close to you

By the way, here in the States, there is something about Odometers in Vehicles that are over 10 years old.
I think that mileage change is not required to be recorded, after 10 years

But you want the change for your personal information & use
I can understand that

your vehicle is just broke in :)

99,999 Kilometers (km) equals to 62136.49 Miles (mi)

Agreed, at the very least I would change to miles to see if it is continuing to record mileage correctly and just can't display it in km (expect to see a value greater than 621370.5 miles). There are also several locations on the vehicle where mileage is stored.
