That can be true for sure ! In this case the 40PSI reading in the shade side and lower sunny side, BUT when I check with my digital gauge all 4 read 40 PSI . Only the truck gauge is offTPMS is only accurate while the tire is spinning. Most likely the one side is getting hit by the sun the other is shaded. Drive it for 5 mins and recheck.
I do about once a week or 2 ! Funny before the TPMS was spot on for years !My 2014 has been wrong since day one....always 5psi + or -. I pressures once a week with a good Guage .
