Finally got the opportunity/wife's green light to get a 4" lift. I am looking at Zone or Superlift can't swing for the BDS even though I really want to. Going to be running my sport 20x9 with 295/65 with 1 1/2 Bora spacer for now.

I know Zone has two options, 2" rear coil spacer or 3" new coil springs. It Looks like Superlift only offers 3" spring for rear. I know the new coils should ride nicer than a spacer. Leaning towards 3inch for rear.

My other thought is doing either of the 4" lifts with the Bils to level is just about what a 6"/3 would give me. Got me thinking should I just do a 6"/3 setting Bils at 0 or 0.7. With Superlift the 4 or 6 is same price with the Zone maybe few hundred difference depending on what shocks ect.

Anyone know if Superlift's 4" & 6" lifts both use 3inch rear coils? Can't find on their site just says new springs

So to those with these lifts or anyone thinking of getting one soon what's your thoughts greatly appreciated. I feel like I am trying to pick a name for a first born child.

Going through the same thing, but with 6" kits. Only thing I can say is that if your in doubt about a 6 inch you should just go with it. I prefer the zone lift because you can get fox shocks. I've only read good things about them. The Zone and superlift kits both appear to be similar but the superlift, at least in the six inch kit, requires some cutting. I've yet to see a True Performance comparison between them.

I'm also going to do 6 inches in front in five in the rear. I remember from my 09 Ram that the truck squats pretty good when you have some weight. So the rake doesn't bother me. I'd hate to be going down the road nose high because I got some firewood , camp gear, and a spare 37-inch Tire in the bed.

I thought about it more and made a decision. I am gonna do a Zone 6/3 with Bils @ 0. This way all the angles will be good and it will be just about same height as if I did the 4/3 with [email protected].

I had all the same questions when looking into lifting my truck. Both Zone and Superlift are decent kits. Don't see too many people regretting either one. If i went with the superlift, I'd do the upgraded bilsteins all around. I went Zone, as they were a little more reputable. The tougher decision was 4 or 6". Only thing restricting me was a 7' garage door. Most guys choose to run either the 4" kit with bils set @ 1.4 for a nice level stance. Or a 6" with 5" rear coils and bils set @ 2.1 to get close to level. Some of it depends on what you want the truck to look like, and if you're gonna want the option to go a little higher in the future.

That's a mean truck. Did you end up going with 4" or 6"?

To answer a couple more questions. Both kits will require cutting of the front cross member. The superlift 6" has a 5" rear coil option just like the zone. Lifts are Very similar.

Thank you! I run a 6/ 5 Zone with bils set at 2.1 and have zero regrets. Love the way it looks and drives!

Nice. I'm literally in the same boat as you were - 4" or 6". Only concerns with 6" are parking garages and even worse mpg than with a 4" haha. I'll do a BDS kit but can't decide on the height[emoji20] got 35's too. What's your mpg?

I dont think the mpgs would change much between the 4 or 6. I'm on 35 toyo mts, evic says 10 and change. My driving is 95 percent city stop/go traffic. Havent recalibrated yet for tires...waitin on tuner.

Factory wheels? What size tires and are you running spacers? Looking to put new rubber on after my lift and like your set up but would like to keep factory wheels.

Here's a pic for reference, Zone 6/5 with bils set at 2.8. For my purpose it works because I don't haul very often and if I do it's not too heavy. If I did, I would have went with 2.1. I am thinking about getting a .75" spacer in the rear, but we'll see. As of now I love it.

Thanks, and yeah your truck would look great lifted!
I feel like I'd need to change my tires and they're practically new 2756520. I do have the 1.5" spacers but would rather go with wider tire to keep a better stance lifted. May wait until I run the Kanatis down. I can always do headers in the meantime. lol

Here is an idea..Wait a lil longer, save a few more $$ to get what you want..
All I was trying to say is I'd be better off to use the tires I've got instead of taking a loss selling them, and I'm perfectly happy with them. Both the lift and headers are planned regardless. I can do the headers sooner, run these tires down and do the lift with new shoes when the time comes.

I've got bilsteins at 2.1 with 295/60 toyo mts and I barely fit in parking garages, I would imagine a 4" lift wouldn't fit at least in most city parking decks. Might as well go all out and get the 6" then you won't second guess it later and be happy with your decision I'm sure! I'm really starting to think of lifting mine w/6inch but has anyone ran 37s with that and bils?
