Oil Pan Removal 2015 Dodge Ram 6.4 Liter Hemi

I am having a little trouble getting my oil pan out. I have removed all the pan bolts and have the pan loose. I cant slide the pan out. Does anyone have a tricks they can recommend? Am i missing something? Thank you in advance...

The oil pump pickup is what is stopping you. I have not done an oil pan on a 6.4 Hemi but in most cases when you try and do them in the vehicle you have to loosen the motor mounts and raise the engine a little so you can clear the pickup. Or if you have a 4x4 you can lower the front axle. Either is time consuming.

I sure someone here that has done one can give you some pointers.

You’ll need to jack the motor up, and likely undo the pickup tube and take it out with the pan.
