Hello all. I have an issue with my oil pan. The drain bolt was stripped beyond taking off so I bought a new oil pan. I watched a video on removing it and followed it precisely. When I got the pan loose it wouldn't clear the bottom of trans to slide back and come off. It hits the bottom two bolt holes that go to the big bracket that attached to bell housing rear of pan.
Is their a trick to getting it out? I did remove cross bracket under front of trans but it doesn't seem to come down to clear trans housing?
Any help would be appreciated.
