looks like Mobil 1 is getting the most points here.

Mobil 1 is a good oil.
I personally use Shell Rotella 5w-20.
Everyone has a personal opinion, just pick whatever oil you want or like.

I've used nothing but Mobil1 5w-20/5w-30 (summer and winter respectively) and I've had no issues

I've got 147k on mine. I try to replace the oil every 5k, couple of times got it to 10k.

I try to do it at 8k. My dad does 10k and has 300k miles on his honda... I wont do that to my baby though[emoji23]

The only concern is that Mobil 1 does not bear the MS6395 listing.

It can be speculated that it meets or exceeds whatever physical properties are required by that but Mobil didn't choose to pay for the certification, that sort of thing happens in other industries. Probably nobody outside the industry knows and nobody in the industry is saying so on record.

I believe Mobil Super Synthetic (not Mobil 1) is actually MS6395 listed, so there would be no reason in the world not to use it.
