I live in Ontario Canada and I am asking the “snow belt” owners (especially the areas that use salt on the roads) Have you oil sprayed your ram? I want my 2018 to last as long as I can and I have no rust and want to keep it like that. So spray or not??

do you mean some kind of underbody treatment? i did for the first time with my Ram last week. not a professionally done job. i just bought a few cans of Cure Rust 3000 at Canadian Tire and sprayed everything i could see underneath. i've lived on the prairies all my life. i've never had any major rust issues. i don't even know if we use salt anymore. i try to hand wash my truck once every couple weeks for sure in the winter if not every week.

I am from Northern Ontario myself and I would highly recommend Krown. Get it done in late August.

Some tips for this are remove your rear wheel well liners and spare tire before you go in so they can hit absolutely everywhere. And get the treatment done ever every. My truck is a 2016 and holding up very well.

Better to spend the $150 a year then 60k for a new truck early because the rust destroyed it early right?

And yea anytime really before they start throwing salt on the roads

If you can before you spray, clean your underbody and POR15 everything. That's what I did and I krown every 1 or 2 years. I have a 2103 and it still looks great.

If Krown was near me, I would have it done.

do yourself a favor, stay away from krown. it's garbage. road spray over winter pretty much cleans it off. another beef I have with them is drilling unnecessary holes to spray, even right beside already existing oem plugs
get sprayed with fluid film, way better option, It actually stays soaked in metal after winter, plus it's eco friendly.
If your near Sudbury, look up Pass it on Undercoating, The owner is Wade, and he does a very good job, and attention to detail is awesome. he sprays behind wheel liners for example, and that is one spot most Krown dealers don't.
he also sprays all latches, door hinges, battery terminals and firewall.
