Ok, DRL's...

Ok, I've searched and searched and I keep seeing yes and no and yes and no... So is it possible to have the DRL's activated on a USA spec. Ram with the projectors? Can the dealer do it? I thought they would just need to put the truck into Canada mode.. So confused..? Haha!

I can tell you for 100%, that is is NOT possible to activate DRL's on an American Built Ram 3500 truck, the wiring harness doesn't even have the wiring built into it to run DRL's. Now trucks built for Canada and trucks built on the American Fleet line have the DRL wiring harness. Dodge built me my custom truck off the US line and once it arrived they tried to activate the DRLs but couldn't so had to build me a second truck, so they could activate the DRLs. The engineers at the plant confirmed that the wiring harnesses were different and short of cutting wires into the current harness it couldn't be done. If dodge builds different harnesses for their 3500's I can't beleive they wouldn't do the same for the rest of their trucks.

Wonder how much a canada or fleet harness is?? If the harness is in I wonder if it would work. Might have to look into this. I bet it is stupid expensive for them unfortunatly.
