Do you live in Warner Robbins Georgia area? If so just check on the rebates that you qualify for and make sure there are not up charges when you arrive including dealer prep or DOC fee. Make sure you know all the charges prior to waling on the lot.

The rebates are related to your zip code so if you are shopping out of market area the prices will vary. I know this because we have additional rebates on some trucks that other zones do not receive.

I just dealt with a similar issue yesterday buying my new truck. The dealer I purchased from advertised that they would beat anybody's price, so I went online found the same truck in Denver, (prices are always cheaper there)
My dealer said there were conditions in the price advertised online, such as a $500 military discount, that I did not qualify for, but my dealer was unable to prove that too me so they had to honor the online price.
So according to my dealer there are hidden incentives that you must qualify for to actually get it at that price. But you won't know for sure unless you inquire.

Good luck.

I bought mine from Florida and I wish they had a deal like that! I wouldn't have custom ordered mine for a price like that. They tried forcing me out of my military discount because I refused to let them copy my ID (it's against military rules for anyone to copy it). But they ended up giving it to me anyway after I signed the check for the advertised price of a similar model

Yeah, a lot of times they add all the incentives into the online price but you have to qualify for them once you get there. If not the price goes up.

Damn that's a good price! I got mine for 28 out the door. But I used this site. It's sponsored by the NRA and the dealership has to honor it. It dropped a solid 8k off the list price and then i qualified for just about every incentive.

Down here in the Houston area, that's about right... after the discounts, etc.

I have seen them knocking off $12K around here.

Can you explan how exactly truecar works. I have it offered through my employer and went in and did one for a quad cab tradesman 2x4, and this is what they gave me for a price.

5,964 off an msrp of 28,690 *includes customer incentives

The dealership does have to honor the price unless they are sponsored and on the preferred tru car dealer list.

Tru Car is a 3rd party lead source for dealerships. About 3 years ago they almost went broke with all of the lawsuits that corporate stores brought against them. Since then they play by different rules and the dealerships set the price that they will sell the vehicle with and then tru car uses that as the pricing.

You can buy a vehicle anywhere you want but the rebates are where you are living not where you are buying. So find one with the best price ask for a quote from your zip code and have the incentives listed so that you know what is there and then start to shop locally and find a dealership that will work with you on pricing. Most are ****** and want to just move the iron off the lot.
