Good afternoon everyone I hope you all having a good Saturday! I purchased this 2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7L Hemi 3 days ago. This is my first pickup truck and I am by no means a mechanic however I am very good DIYer and upon learning everything about my new vehicle I noticed these two connectors that are obviously disconnected. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what might be able to be attached to these connectors. Just trying to figure out what they might be related to so that I can maybe understand why they are left open and decide if I want to attach whatever item they can connect to (if possible of course). Thank you for any help and have a great day!20220506_184735.jpg20220507_114411.jpg

Looks like you are spot-on Sir. After researching "trailer brake controller" it appears to be exactly that. Thank you for your help!

I switched from manual to power in my quad cab and it felt noticeably lower. It also tilts which can make it feel lower too.
