I can come up with why the HX was rebuilt .. those injectors are WAY to big for that turbo

Hmmm... Look for a older folks truck that was used for hauling there 5th wheel something that hasn't been moded a bunch... You'll be much happier to start with a fairly stock truck anf build it right than trying to fix everyone elses screw up...
