Ya it's an sxt with the 6 speed. Wife drives the truck more than I do, so for me, as long as I can haul the camper and use it as a truck. I'm happy.

Does it have the 3.21, 3.55 or 3.92 diff? Either way congrats on the new truck.

Just a FYI, the 6-speed never came with the dial shifter - that's just for the 8-speed. So it's not like they went back from dial to column, just different transmissions.

Congrats on the new truck! Our fire chief drives a similar truck but he has more lights in the grille... Useful for getting traffic out of the way.

Congrats on the truck. The 6 speed will serve you just fine, especially with the column shifter which you pointed out better suits your needs. Gas is the way to go.

So I spent 3 days in the truck. Drove from home (near Ottawa Ontario) to Florida. No complaints. Fuel meter was reading 12.9L/100km after about 2600km. Average speed was 85mph. Being able to switch the speedometer to mph in the truck is pretty handy for crossing the border.

You likely have the 3.55 differentials.
Your radio is the RA2 5.0 Uconnect.
Congrats on the Truck !

Can post a comparison review please. Likes and dislikes between the Eco and the Hemi. Based on your perspective.

Yeah currently the hemi option with 6 speed is a $700 discount over a V6, although there seems to be an extra $1000 V6 incentive deal.

With an 8 speed, the V8 option is $1150 plus $500, about $1650. With 6 speed its $1150 minus $1840, about a $700 credit.... a $2300 difference for the V8 with 8 speed.

The smoking deals advertised are for 6 speeds.

Yeah- and if a deal seems to be too good to be true, it's 99.99% a V6. But they just mention that in the fine print. :naughty:

For the 6 speed, I guess many of you complain about the 6 speed vs the 8 speed never tried a 2013+ 6 speed tranny.

It doesn't react like the 2012 and older trans. It shift really smooth compared to the 2012. I have a friend with a 2012 6 speed, I have a 2014 with the 6 speed and another friend with a 2014 with the 8 speed. And yes there is good difference between the 6 speed 2012 and 2014.

And to my taste the 8 speed tranny upgrade vs the 6 speed doesn't Worth it until you are doing mostly city driving, then you'll maybe break even with the gas if you are planning to keep it really long time. Here for example, on lower trim the 8 speed upgrade is 1700$ cad + tx. And for the reliability , for a 2 year old tranny anyone can't arguing on this, only time will say.

I have no complaints about the 6 speed. I found the window sticker. I will take a pick and post it up later. Also I will gladly do a comparison of the 2014 Eco to the 2016 hemi. It will of course only be my $0.02 option lol.

Probably depend on where you are. Dealer up here is over $300 for an oil change.

Paying a dealer to change your oil is just asking to be bent over and have your money taken from you. Take 15 minutes and do the job yourself. Just my $0.02.
