My 2014 has issues when in overdrive ONLY. when i click the button down to 8/8 or anything else, it does NOT do it. only when in ECO mode in Overdrive.
its very distinctive when slowing down while in overdrive. it almost sounds like exhaust backup. its making a ticking noise. when im on the highway driving at higher speeds its not noticeable at all either, even in ECO overdrive, but when i slow down, say under 45 or so, it starts making the noise and if i continue to drive it like this without downshifting manually to using the 8/8 gears, it will throw a check engine light. i know it is using 4 cylinders out of 8 when in ECO mode so im guessing it has something to do with that. thoughts ?
