Overhead console

So I just got me a new 2012 ram 2500 laramie longhorn and am still learning all the new gadgets. It is such a big upgrade from my 2005 f-350 Harley 6.0 leaker. What is this sensor/camera looking thing in the center of the overhead console?

it should just be a green light. I have it, and it has a green glow at night.

Ive seen a thread about this before somewhere. Its a infrared sensor for the automatic climate control.

texasrammer is right that is NOT the green light. The green light is up there put in a different location.
