I did a quick search and this code (P0191) is listed twice from what I found, but there were no follow up suggestion for the OP's.
I have a '12 RAM 3500 6.7L diesel and it just cranked over 170k miles. It's all stock, no tuner or CAT removed... STOCK!
The first time the code popped up during my year and a half of ownership, was last July up in MI on a RV vacation. I cleared the code and all was good for a few more months. By the way, when I'm fully loaded with two Harleys in the rear of my toy hauler fifth wheel, I'm at 28,250# total with truck towing weight. I don't know if the P0191 is work related as in towing a load would throw it more likely than normal unloaded driving. But it's also popped up again two days ago and I've not been towing for about a month now.
Any ideas if this is a "true" failure of the fuel rail sensor, or can I just keep clearing and driving?
Thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and stay healthy!
