Thanks for the write-up... It's a matter of time until I install the side cameras. Turning my head just isn't sufficient w/ a 6 inch lift and 37's. In the few months I've had my truck, I've had a couple close calls with low profile vehicles and worry about bikers. People baffle me at their desire to stay in my blindspot.

Sounds like I'm setup correctly since I just installed the amp pro for the sound system!

I'm liking this ....gonna have to look into it further as I do still want a cargo & front cam .

@ Jwithing , my wife's 16 Challenger has the blinds pot mirrors that have an orange triangle that illuminates when a vehicle is in your blinds pot area and if you put your blinker on in that direction there's an audible beeping tone over the drivers side dash speaker .
This system works great , but I like the camera idea better

I had the same in my prior vehicle, 2011 300C, I thought I was just spoiled and would want the camera, but after awhile I realized that they're a safety necessity with me riding so high. Also not used to whipping my neck around :D

The issue actually persists with this unit too - and there is no way around it. Essentially either the LockPick or this unit will trick the VSS into thinking the car is not moving. This allows you to input info while driving - however this also causes issue with a 100% GPS lock, as the car uses GPS and internal vehicle speed to calculate your location. Basically if you have nav input by-passed, your GPS will not always be accurate. Luckily you can turn the feature off though.

Awesome, thanks! I believe that is what I'm experiencing with the LockPick now. Would you happen to know the dipswitch settings for the LockPick Air v2?

I believe it is if you have a factory DVD player or screen and you use an external source - that will no longer work.

Thanks! No more questions but I appreciate your responses. I'm going to try the dipswitch change today to see if it cures my GPS issues.

That's super disappointing. I use my nav often and have the screen on when not using it for directions. That would drive me bat**** crazy to wat h in malfunction.

That's why you turn it off, and input your destination before you leave. :)

Made the change in the dipswitch (5 down). No change, still about 5 miles off. Is the soft setting marked "override" involved with GPS too?

I would maybe unplug battery for 10 minutes and see if that helps. I had no issues switching back and forth with PAC.

I assume you have driven around for 10-15 minutes too?

Yep, and about 3 full power cycles. The strange thing is its intermittent. Sometimes GPS is spot on. Since I've turned it (LockPick NAV override) off, it's not registering at all. After another factory reset it has me stationary in San Antonio (I'm in St. Louis)...
