new owner of a Black 21 BigHorn/Lonestar Night edition. I've owned a black before but i know extieror paint polishes etc have progessed since the last time I had to do some cleanup on swirls or scratches.
I'm curious what others like to use to remove light swirl/scratch marks that I see in this black paint prior to adding cermaic pertection.
I have an orbital buffer and want to achieve the best deep gloss I can prior to ceramic coat. I think white pad/compound would be too aggressive.
I have black pads for polish and blue for ultra-fine polish/waxing.
What products do you like...especially for the Diamond Crystal Black pearlcoat?

Check out this thread...

The short answer to your question is to use Koch Chemie F6 polishing compound. If your are a DIY'er, i would highly recommend using Undrdog protective coating. Treburkulosis lists the steps to the process in the thread above. The steps he lists for my car included stripping off a previous coating and you will probably not need to do that.
