Painting plastic on bumper

How would I go about painting the black plastic peace on top of my crome bumper to match the body color? Has anyone done this? Or do I just need to order a new one painted my OEM color?

I would imagine cleaning using and adhesion promoter then paint and clear and seal . Don't quote me to it . Let YouTube be your friend . If all else fails search eBay or order .
