Its time for new tires at least two for now lol but was wondering has any body ever tried both and how do you like them I've never tried either one but read reviews on a charger forum but would like to see how they are on a truck

Based on what I read:

420s
19*.** at discount tire
Good wet and dry traction
Speed rating is H I believe
Tread wear pretty good
Bad ass tread design lol

Parada spec-x
183.** at discount tire
Good wet and dry traction
Speed rating v
Faster tread wear
Not so cool design

I have NItto's and i like them. My buddy told my they would last a long time. They still look pretty new with around 10K miles on them and im not nice to the truck

That's a good sign lol in the tires I have now its to the point were I don't have much traction and although fun I can put my truck kind of sideways on a full throttle launch makes me smile lol but it sucks in the rain :( so obviously wet traction is important to me

I have the nitto 420s on my 06 ram and they have great traction dry or wet. I love them.
The only Con to them is they are a bit noisey compared to my former Hankook ventus ST tires, but its not all that bad. I have around 15,000 miles on them and they look like they did new. I got 65,000 out of my Hankooks so I hope I will get that or more.

So far 2 for nitto

But in all honesty road noise on street tires isn't to big a deal for me comfort is but not noise as I run an open cut out all the time since I only drive it to work and back I use our kia for long trips lol

Prada Spec X is a wonderful all around tire.
I never got the sense that it was a performance oriented tire, if you're looking for balls out grip, I'd stick with the Nitto.

Prada? Don't they make all that expensive fashionista stuff the women on those reality shows like The Real ***** of Jersey wear? :emotions36:

Nitto's hands down made by Toyo and they stand behind their tires. Prada looks like a chinese ripoff of an older model BFG.

I love my nittos, once you get a little heat in them they stick like glue. Ive got around 13,000 miles on mine and they still have plenty of life left. Theyre great in the rain but the snow is a different story

Then I think nitto is the winner here lol especialbecase the non directional as I think I'm going to run a skinner tire up front so I can at least rotate side to side

It's a Yokohama Prada Spec X, they are actually a GREAT tire from a great company.

Oh I thought that was the name of the Brand. Having been in the tire biz I seen few names come and go from chinese tire companies and its basically the same tread pattern as big name brands. Sorry for ass-ume-ing
