Hey all - I just recently bought a 2011 ram (super crew - hemi 5.7) and I want to keep it up as well as possible. As you can see, there is some rust on the bottom of the truck, but this piece in particular is rusted well beyond anything else.
I’m pretty unskilled / novice when it comes to automotive care, but I’m looking forward to starting to learn as I take care of this truck.
My question is - what is this piece? And can I simply replace it with a new one? How much should I be worrying about this? Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated.
