Have a 4 inch rcx now with bils at 2.1 with about a inch of rake but looking to move up to the 6 inch lift and maybe a 3 inch body lift just looking to see what parts I need different. I know the 4 and 6 inch lifts are the same in the rear except for sway bar and the coil spacer so I'm wondering what's different in the front. Just the coil spacer and diff drop? Any help would be great because rough country doesn't like toe-mail me back:flipthebird:image.jpg

Up front I think it just adds a preload spacer in the coil to get the additional lift, not sure if the knuckles are taller?

How would the preload spacer work with bilstins?

I wouldn't use it although physically I'm sure you could. I'm no expert put here goes:

The preload spacer is there to generate somewhere around 2" (not sure exact height but we'll use 2" for this explanation) so if you assemble the Bilsteins with the spacer, at the stock setting you are already at 2". Now this means you can only move the Bils up one notch to .7" for a total of 2.7". Seems kind of a waste not to just max the Bils out without the spacer.

And don't forget, spacers over extend and/or reduce up travel (depending on location of spacer) whereas the Bils were designed to enhance wheel travel but not over extend anything.

Hope this make sense and isn't completely off base.

Right now I'm running bils at 2.1 and my cv's are almost level so if I ad the spacer and set them at 1.4 think it would do much harm?

RCX doesn't use a preload spacer on their 6" kits... so yes, that information is completely off base.

Up front the differences are:
Strut spacer
Differential drop brackets
Cross members (lower A-arm drop brackets)
Sway bar links

In the rear the differences are:
Spring/coil spacer
Sway bar links
Possibly the upper control arms.

If I were you I wouldn't be set on using RCX parts to get it higher. I'd personally go with Zone as their kits are better quality and you'll end up with a better result. You could piece together the parts that you need but in reality you'd be better off buying an entire kit. Kits are almost always cheaper than piecing parts together.
