Hope they look good - got them ready to install tomorrow morning. I did all the wiring on the truck yesterday, and the lights today. So, it'll be "just minutes" tomorrow to install.

(Never noticed how difficult it is to take a good pic of a headlight with black housings!)

They're in!

I made a post about it this morning in this thread - but for some reason, it didn't take. Oh well.

Here's some pics:













I think they came out pretty nice looking. I was originally planning on a plane-jane retrofit, but I made a stupid mistake. When the TYC's were getting ready for sealing up, I decided to wipe down some of the dust / cloudiness on the housings. Big mistake - the chrome came right off. :****sweak:

So, I soaked the housings in super purple, and removed the rest of the chrome. Painted the housings flat black.

I was somewhat worried about the contrast - but after seeing it installed, I think it looks pretty nice!

Yeah, the chrome on these (and the OEM for that matter) comes right off if you look at it funny.

Gotta say - I liked the black housings right after the install - and am liking them even more and more everytime I see them!

I love the black housings on a white truck. I did dark graphite. I had a love / hate relationship with them. Mainly love.
