Pinion seal leaking

Good afternoon everyone, front pinion seal is leaking changed it back in January 2012 hemi 4x4. Is there a torque speck on the pinion nut?

There is a number but it's a minimum torque unlike say cylinder head bolts. The pinion nut serves as adjustment for the bearing pre-load and compresses a crush sleeve so there is no exact torque number to meet. There is however a *rotational* torque that represents the drag from bearing pre-load which is ultimately used to determine when the pinion nut is tight enough.

take it back to the shop that didnt fix it right the first time. probly they either gouged the seal or maybe the flange yoke has a groove wore in it. theres no tightening torq for the nut so dont mess with it or youll make a mess and have to disassemble the whole front end
