I found a post about a new tonneau cover a month or so ago and cant seem to find it! It was a fiberglass cover that sat perfectly flush with the bed, I think it was something like $1400. If anyone has a link please chime in!

My BakFlip F1 was like that. Loved it on my chevy. Was <1000 though. It was fiberglass with aluminum under, locked with the tailgate, no external access unless tailgate was open.

Pretty certain you're talking about bakflip...I haven't seen too many at that price point except mopar oem.

Im 100% certain its not a backflip...Ive checked A.R.E, Undercover, Leer, rollback, truxedo and nothing! Its a 1 piece hard tonneau that's smooth and paintable. I love the undercover SE, but I want something smoother and more low profile.

Undercover Lux is painted to match your truck, doesn't get any smoother. It's also the lowest profile solid tonneau that I'm aware of.
