I photoshopped a little idea i have to break up the super drab greys of the interior of my truck. This bronze is what I've thought of. Its Rustoleum Flat Burnished Amber, a metallic color, I'd like some input or ideas!

Trying to make something that looks like it would have been factory, but trying to do somethign that isnt too bright or poppy, like red or blue like the rebel/hydro blue trucks

It looks ok but if it were my build I would honestly do the chrome in the bronze too because with the chrome the black and the grey it looks busy even before you add the bronze. Just some food for the thought.

Yeah it's difficult finding a good balance without going overboard

Agreed, that's why I haven't touched the interior of my truck yet I want to get rid of every piece of "chrome" but not sure how I want to approach it yet

I just did something sorta like this last week in my 2019 Charger. Plum Crazy purple bc/cc to match the exterior. Still waiting on my air-bag trim pieces from Nate. Really brightened all the darkness of the black interior. I'm thinking about doing something in Blue Streak in my Ram.S6302855.JPG S6302853.JPG S6302857.JPG S6302849.JPG

I think that looks really tasteful and quite nice actually. Also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do what you like!

I have an exterior color of prairie pearl and would like to do something like that but to match the exterior.

Yes, Base Coat/Clear Coat using same paint code as exterior. Pictures are right after installing, handprints and all! S6302650 (1).JPG

I like it. Subtle customisation.

My big issue with painting is the up keep. The paint would be chipped and worn within a year and i am too lazy to redo it

Use an interior dye instead of paint
