Power folding tow mirrors

NY 2018 ram 1500 came origanally with power fold sport mirrors. My question is are my doors still have that option.? Have power fold tow mirrors. What's needed to make them work?. Have the main with power fold. Is it a plug and play?.

It should be plug and play for the folding part. However, you might need to update the BCM with AlphaOBD or have the dealer set the tow mirror option. This change makes the arrows on the 4-way switch on the drivers arm rest align with mirror movement when it is flipped up into the towing position. If you don't make the change, the 4-way button will still work but the right arrow will be moving the mirror up, etc. so it can be a little confusing to adjust the mirror.

It does. The BCM setting you need (In AlphaOBD) is this:

Doors Configuration:
Tow Mirror Present: Set

If this is not set, the controls will not work properly when the mirrors are flipped up as @chri5k described.
