Power seat wiring

so i currently have a 2003 2500 SLT and I found some nice power leather seats from a 05 1500 Laramie. Seats fit good and was told it should just be plug and play for the power to the seats but I was met with a square shaped harness coming from the floor but the seats themselves have a more rectangular harness on them? Wanting to hardwire them in but I’m not sure what wire to tie in where? If anyone has come across this problem and had a solution that would be awesome!

Yeah I've ran into the same wiring issue. I've found power coming from the square connector on the floor, but it is really small gauge wiring. I'm thinking about a dedicated power source like running a fusible link from the battery through the firewall. Did you ever find a solution yourself?
