Power steeriing

On my 2003 dodge ram 5.7L, While driving if I step on the gas to pass the power steering stiffens up real bad. Changed out power steering pump and pressure switch. Thinking maybe bad pump. Any ideas?

How do the hoses look ? It may be an internal issue with a hose that isn’t noticeable from the outside appearance.

They look good but are original. I'm guessing that would be a good place to start?

sounds like your belt and or pulley is slipping what fluid did you use ATF4?

welp to be honest i have never personally seen this issue before. Cant help much without looking not much to the system you may want to just take it to a shop have someone look at it so you dont fire the parts cannon.
