Hello everyone,

I've seen several posts after researching and am finding a pretty open-ended question with no definitive answer.

I gave a 2015 Power Wagon and hate the 31 gallon fuel tank. Wondering if I could drop part # 68534615AB into it.

From what I found, this part has overlapping compatability - the original part for my 2015 is # 68149858AB.

After looking you'll find the -9858AB is compatible up to the 2020 power wagon, and -4615AB goes back to the 2020 power wagon.

Screenshot below of what I'm taking about when I say overlap.

Really hoping someone here can put an end to this confusion!

The 50 gallon tank is not offered on any crew cab short bed, so the power wagon being included in the fitment is incorrect.
That being said, even if the tank can be stuffed under a CCSB (which it has been determined that it can), there is so much more involved, including swapping in the bigger EVAP system. That 50 gallon tank and evap system has an isolation valve that doesn’t exist on a 31 gal tank system, and won’t function with your 2015 PCM calibration since it wasn’t even an option until 2020.

Awesome, thank you so much for clearing this up.

I'd be nice if they cleared up what it fit on, especially since it lists the PW.

Appreciate it!
