Has anyone upgraded to the 48 gallon Dodge P/N 68534615AB?
I have a 2023 6.4L Laramie 8 ft bed, if I put this tank in will the DTE calculation reset itself? is there anything else I will need to do?

DTE will be based on the old volume. From what i have read that can't be changed.

Yes - it can be changed with AlfAOBD, i changed the tank on my 2010 from the stock 26 to a 32 gal and programmed it with the new tank size

FYI, you have posted in the 4th gen for your truck, which is a 5th gen. You may want to check that forum out for information on this swap.

Good luck.

I added the 50 gallon Titan to my '23 2500 and was able to correct the DTE with AlfaOBD. I never could get the fuel gauge reading perfectly due to tank dimensions, it would hang on full a little longer than it should.
Using an OEM tank & sending unit you shouldn't have any issues. Change the tank size to 181 liters in the BCM and you should be golden.

After upgrading to the 48-gallon fuel tank (Dodge P/N 68534615AB) on your 2023 Ram 6.4L Laramie with an 8 ft bed, the Distance to Empty (DTE) calculation should adjust gradually as the vehicle recalibrates. It may take a few driving cycles. Ensure the tank is full, drive normally, and monitor DTE. No additional steps are typically required.

All this makes me want to upgrade my 31 to the 48. Is this possible for the 2018 mega cab 4x4 CTD?
