I just upgraded to the premium cluster this weekend.

The few times I've driven my truck the tpms/vehicle info screen pops up even though I switch and leave it on the speedometer screen.

Seems like defaulting to that screen, and I do not have low pressure in any tire and the dummy light is not on either.

Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Did you put a 2013 model Cluster in? That year seems to have problems with 2014+ model years and TPMS.

No, . The tpms screen is accurate, but seems odd how evic wants to start there instead of speedo.

Sounds like something may be wrong with the cluster. I mess around with them a lot and never seen it default to TMPS unless it throws a warning message. What year Truck and what year cluster?

Anybody ever figure this out? I just installed a 2016 cluster in my 2015 Express and it's doing the same thing. It's also blinking "P" when in park which I thought I read something about once but I cant find it anymore

My sport ( with the premium cluster factory ) will default to the tpms screen when I start my truck with my winter rims on which do not have sensors in the rims.

Mine have the sensors and the EVIC is reading the correct pressures, I just can't get it to stay on the speedometer screen.

The original 3.5" cluster in my '14 did that. The 7", also from a '14, that I swapped in does not. No idea why.

Mine settled in on the speedo screen for the past couple months, but I just installed new headlights and taillights and it's doing it again.

Hoping it will stop again soon.

Sorry guys, I know this is a super old post but I am having the issue with the vehicle info screen loading instead of my speedometer. I just put in the 7" cluster 2 days ago and cant seem to keep it on the speedo. Has anyone figured this issue out yet? My RAM 1500 is a 2016. the Evic was also from a 16. I also just recently replaced the factory 3.5" screen with the Tesla Style Radio if that has anything to do with it.

You din't answer Hootbro question. Did you put in a cluster from a 2013? Because they are known to have issues in the 2013 ones. WHat year was the cluster from that you installed?

DO you have the alfaOBD software and a module to program things? YOu could probably use that to reset the modules or something. I know you can turn TPMS off or reset it with that software

sorry for the delay, but no, nothing has changed. I beginning to think it has something to do with me only driving ty truck a couple times a week. If I run a quick errand and change the screen it will stay there.

Two years ago I upgraded my 2014 RAM 1500 to the 7" premium cluster out of a 2018 RAM 2500. At random, about 8 or 9 times out of ten it started up on the "Vehicle Settings" screen (usually set to TPMS) instead of "Speedometer" (where I always leave it). Here's the interesting thing. Two months ago I had a remote start kit installed. Without exception, when the truck is started using the remote start, the screen ALWAYS comes up correctly to the "Speedometer" display! But, when I start it using the key, it still usually comes up to the TPMS display. No idea how starting it with the remote start makes a difference, but it absolutely does.
