2012 Dodge Ram 4.7 was leaking antifreeze into the cab like crazy. So, I changed the heater core and evaporator core. Just made sense to do both. Now the SVC 4WD and ESC lights are both on. I went back through and checked the wire connectors (pure joy). All are connected as they were before being taken apart. Everything looks exactly as it should, well, I think. :). I can still activate 4WD not 4WD low.

My scanner doesn't read 4wd codes, apparently. Anyone have any ideas? Feels like I must of forgot something I am not seeing or did something without knowing. I am completely puzzled.

maybe you got a little too "handsy" unplugging connectors? :893Chainsaw-Smilie- haha

havent needed to do one on a truck yet but done plenty on small cars and having to rip the entire dash out and unplugging a million things something is bound to happen

if it was me, id retrace my steps and put hands on everything, make sure all wires are seated securely in there connectors etc but someone else here might give you more sound advice :happy160:

I would check all connectors that you took apart to see if you mistakenly bent a pin putting them back together. Jm .02

Thanks for the advice, guys! I figured it out. The brake light switch became jammed some how. Removing it and adjusting it turned off the 4wd and ESC lights. Problem solved!
