I was wondering if I can upgrade the calipers of my 1500 to 3500 calipers. I did this on my '91 Chevy C1500. The calipers were plug and play. The difference was the size of the caliper piston with the 1-ton caliper having a bigger piston. Do the 1500 and 3500 calipers mount the same and is there any advantage to the 3500 calipers?
