Own a 2015 ram outdoorsman. Wondering if there are many people out there who have put hids in their fogs? Will this interfere with the electrical system in these Rams or will it be alright? Seen lots of people using led bulbs but I am not sold on them. Thanks.

Lots of people run Hids in the fogs including myself with zero issues.

They are not canbus related.

Have at it!

Rzrman is right. Before switching to HIDs try the Sylvania ZXE bulbs. I drive 1000 miles a week, and wanted to see the shoulder better to avoid deer but after switching bulbs to the ZXEs the light output is night and day. Just my .02

I have a 14 and am running HIDs in my fogs with matchbox projectors but did require a CANBUS adapter. The power draw was to much without them and the lights would just flicker. Yours being a 15 would most likely require the relay harness if you had issues with them coming on.

I run a Morimoto HID kit from Retro Shop on my 2012 and I needed Canbus adapters to make them work as well. I had one adapter crap out on my a couple months ago and tried just plugging everything in directly and they wouldn't even come on. Canbus adapters make everything nice and simple.

I'd recommend getting in touch with Jeremy at Retro Shop as he'll be able to tell you if there's any other special requirements for a '15. I know the headlights in the '15's were a real pain to get figured out.

This is the kit I purchased and installed in July 2015....

https://www.amazon.com/Innovited-Xenon-Conversion-6000k-Ballast/dp/B00BVE65RG

They have never not fired up, flickered, made noises, cause radio interference etc..since I installed them....which I was and am still surprised/impressed for being an eBay kit.....just in case someone happens to see this thread and wants an inexpensive, reliable hid kit for the fogs (at least for 9-12)

They may work great on 13+....idk.
