My 02 SLT has manual drivers seat, I'm looking at getting some different seats out of an 09 that has power drivers seat. I know on some vehicles they may have manual seats but have the harness for power seats tucked under the carpet. Anyone know if this is the case for the Dodges? I'd hate to buy a power seat and not be able to adjust the seat!

Not sure if they come prewired for them. Theres a hole in the carpet under the drivers seat where the plug comes out of that you could feel around for it. Im pretty sure 09 seat will bolt up but im not sure if the power harness would match

Highly suggest you get (if you can) harness out of the donor truck, this way you can wire it up if need be.

02-05 have the required power already in the plug under the seat and when used with the manual seats only the seatbelt wire is plugged in. I went thru a swap to 05 Laramie Leathers with the power seats. I cut the wires off and used individual single male/female plugs for each cause the two harnesses i had where mismatched. All you need is a test light and to look up which wire is the main ground on the trucks existing wiring, after that once seat is grounded you basically match up the power and the seats should work fine. You need to find the seatbelt wire on the seat and that one is easy to match up. If the new seats got an extra pwr plug you can hook that up too. Need to idendify your wires by colour and match the chart for your truck. Download the 03 manual its free. I used the Haynes chart. Hope this helps.....piece of cake. Danny
