Let me explain. I ordered 272920-19 and I received 272920. I emailed the merchant right away. He returned my email promptly (he was nice) and said they're the same coil even though numbers are different. Although, their site says 272920 is 2009-2024 old body style "classic" and 272920-19 is new body style. I have a 2025 Ram 1500 new body style. I was informed to run them. My OCD says different. If they're the same, why create a new sku? Run it under the new sku or old may it be. My thinking (ocd) says the spring rate or what not was adjusted for the lighter bed on the 5th gen new body style. Hence why they added the "-19"
Anyone have this happen or run a 4th gen rear coil on a 5th gen? Google Ai (for what it's worth) says the 4th gen (classic) coils on a 5th gen new body style could be bouncy as the spring rate is different to offset lighter bed. Thoughts? Input? Thanks.

Dig out your tape measure and vernier calipers, pretty easy to measure them and the diameter of the coils. Pretty easy to swap the rear springs,so it's not hard to install them and see what happens
