Anyone know of someone that's lowered a RWD Rebel?
I know there's individual that hate it, but there's also those that love it. We all have our preferences. I thought about buying a Sport and lowering it, but the Rebels come factory with some pretty cool features. And I think a dropped Rebel...
2004 regular cab rwd lowered 2/4 currently but can lower the rear another inch if I needed. I made some impulse decisions and kinda panicking on if I’ll clear the fenders or not.
I bought my wheels and tires with the intention to only do the 2/4 drop, they’re 305/45r22(not installed yet)...
Installed a MaxTrac 2/4 lowering kit over two weekends.
Front Strut replacement - No issues other than it needed an alignment.
Rear Install (Spring, Shocks, sway bar link, & pan bar adapter) - n0 issues
Alignment - would not adjust enough for camber. Purchased & installed MaxTrac UCAs Aligned...
I'm needing to replace my front upper control arms. I have 2" spring drop on the front. What would be the best but reasonable priced option out there. I would love to do the adjustable from core 4x4, but a little out of price range.
I've got a lowered 2017 ram 1500, it's 2in front and 4 back. I was wondering what the maximum rim/wheel size I could fit without cutting anything. I've got 17s right now but I'd like to go bigger
I’m planning on dropping it already at least 2/4.5 but would like just a tad more if there isn’t too much rubbing. The long term wheels that I’ll run are 22x10 on 305/45 nittos or toyos. I know the rear will have plenty of room but how much scrubbing at full lock turn should I expect from each...
I put a 2/4 drop and core 4x4 adjustable rear control arms. stock 22" wheels. Keep having troubles of where it needs to be adjusted to. Does anyone have alignment specs for this setup?
Ive had the belltech 2/4 drop with street performance shocks for a year+. Things were good for awhile, rode great and only rubbed when high at high speed on a dip. but now rubs on most dips on the fender liner. It seems the springs and everything have finally settled.
I have the stock R/T 22"...
I just got my IHC 3/5 drop installed on my 2022 1500 Bighorn. I love the look of it, but to be honest the rear is a little bouncy. I also installed the airlift helper bags and am thinking the problem lies with the shocks. I am going to try to find a Bilstein replacement for the IHC supplied...
I had the dreaded service air suspension alert. Took it to the dealership and it was diagnosed as the steering wheel control module and the part is back ordered till aug 2nd. The truck is lowered all the way and the compressor is not working or disabled. I replaced the fuses. But the truck is...
I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4x4 I lowered the front but can’t seem to find a any lowering shocks for it. any ideas or recommendations on what I should do or where I can find them
(PFA)
Someone told me to run lift shocks but I’m not sure how it would ride
Hey all,
Seems like a lot of questions about how to pull this off, so I just want to chime in with what worked for me and some thoughts about lowering in general.
Setup: 2005 RAM 1500 RWD Rumble Bee Edition
Engine: 5.7 Hemi
Transmission: 545RFE
Differential: 9.25" AAM 3.92

I’m hoping someone on here can help guide me, I just inherited my grandpas 2001 Ram 1500 5.2 reg cab 2wd. I want to lower it. No kits are made for this truck and I was told this from a rep at belltech “
The 2000-2001 dodge 1500 is a truck that has a smudge pudge of new and old style parts so...
hi tried searching but couldn't find anything bought a maxtrac 2/4 drop kit for my 2020 RAM 1500 Bighorn. Developed a wobble at 75+ bought core 4x4 control arms , track bar, and hellwig sway bar. Had an issue where I had to remove the track bar relocation bracket that came with the kit because...
Does anybody tow with the 2/4 kit installed?
I am wondering if anyone uses anything to supplement the drop kit? i.e. airlift bags, stiffer shocks, etc..
I'm not towing anything crazy, but I like to have it setup for when I do.
Thanks!
Right now I have the belltech 2/4 drop and plan on switching over to Inez 5/7. Does anyone know what would happen if I used the 2” front drop spring with the 5” drop arm to get a 7” drop in the front?
Probably a dumb question but I know there’s people who understand suspension components better...
I see lots of posts on this but none seem definitive with specific info on all the variables of wheel size, tire size, offset, etc. I figured I'd start a new one and see if anyone has thoughts, comments, or suggestions. I've got a 2016 RAM 1500 Crew Cab. 4WD (we can talk about everyones ideas...
Anyone know where to get stock front coils for a ram 1500 any links or website or anyone willing to sell about to lower my truck to 5/7 but need stock front coils also currently running bell tech 2/4 drop
So looking on the Mcgaughy's website, they offer 2 different 2/4 kits for the rams. 1 kit comes with spindles and the other with front lowering coils. I'm wondering which kit would be a better option to lower a 4x4 truck?
Does the spindle kit retain the factory shocks and springs? I'm wondering...
Looking specifically for set of Illicit Customs Cut-Kit brackets for the rear control arms on a lowered 4th Gen. Doesn't need to be pretty or have the bolts...
