Hello all, first post here so I’m hoping not to ask a question that’s already been answered, but I couldn’t find it in the search. I’m thinking of installing the Superlift 2” lift on my 2014 Ram 1500. I found a deal because someone decided not to install it on their truck. The kit comes with 5100 struts, 5100 rear shocks, and rear coil springs. Question is, will this lift level the truck or will it retain the factory rake? My truck is a 4wd Big Horn, not that I think that matters. Below is a link to the kit on American Trucks website.
Thanks!

The one guy with the photos stated he gained 2 1/8” all the way around. His truck looks like it still has the factory rake for the most part.

Thanks for the reply, yes I saw that in the review section and saw the photos. The photos do appear to have a rake, but also the truck is backed into a slanted driveway so I was unsure. But also in the Q&A section of that link, someone else said it does “level” it. Thought maybe someone on here could have first hand experience.

Hi we would be happy to help you get setup with a suspension that fits your needs and budget. We are a supporting vendor of this forum. Message me and we can get you set up. I would recommend the Eibach Pro kit, rides much smoother. Also you will want to pair that up with UCA's to correct front end geometry from the lift.

That kit you posted is also lifting the rear 1" so you would need to max out the 5100's to get the truck level, which you would definetly need UCA's for and that kit does not offer them.

message me and we can go over it all and put together a kit with everything you need to ensure you have a reliable setup that will ride better than stock!

Expensive kit for what you get.
I totally agree. But someone is selling new in the box for $400 because they sold their truck it fit on. I know it’s worth $400. I was just trying to figure out if it leveled it or not.

Yes I know I would need new UCA’s but the guy has this kit for sale for $400 so I don’t have a problem buying new UCA’s. I was just curious if the kit would “level” the truck because I couldn’t find those specs. So in your experience, it would be level?

If you set the 5100's to 2.8" which is the highest setting it should be close, might have very slight rake still.

We can assist with the UCA's. We recommend Zone with this setup. message me if you would like a quote

Will maxing out the 5100’s to 2.8 give me a crappy ride? Or are they really made for that? Is it possible to use taller coil springs with the 5100’s instead of the OEM coils? Would that be a better option?

The higher you go the stiffer they got. I recommend Eibach struts and coils if you want to go that high without moving up to the more expensive coil over options. The Eibach Pro kit and UCA's will do what you want while having much better ride comfort. Suspension is not the part I would go cheap on. You will regret it and eventually replace it with a better package. You would be very happy with the Eibach Pro kit and Zone UCA's
