Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and just picked up a 2017 Ram 1500 SLT 2wd. First time owning a Ram and am loving it. I was wanting to look into leveling it and have been trying to do some research on it. I have read/heard different things about leveling/lifting a 17 ram. Especially about the Upper Ball Joints popping out. Originally I was looking into getting some leveling blocks, but then was reading about the Bilstein 5100 series. If I go with the Bilsteins, do I need to replace the upper control arms/ball joints? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Bilsteins are 4WD only, but Maxtrac and CST suspension both offer good options

Thanks for pointing that out. I was not aware of that. Would I need to replace the upper control arms with the leveling springs?
