How does this work if I have a 5.0 uconnect and the simple 3 knobs under it and no steering wheel controls?

Mine looks like this

you have to have all my parts and you just go through a plug play mod replacing a few of those options and it all works very easy mod with all my provided parts you can pm me and ill give you lil more info

OK I 'm interested in the unit if you change your mind. I'd take the kit but my bezel is painted.... doh! Do you have the unlock code for the theft? Hmmm I wonder if I could swap painted bezels.... Does this unit have themes/wallpapers you can change?

Still waiting for the lifetime nav update

I called uconnect today and they told me there is no lifetime nav on this radio

I come to find that out as well!
All he said when I told him there is no lifetime maps

Been thinking about it.... it does not say lifetime updates.... When I read it originally I automatically read it as updates for life which there is no such thing. On a RA3 tho it is enabling the maps for "life". Kinda crappy way of wording it but it is true.

Ra4 comes with nav, and I talked to him he said and I have text of him saying lifetime map updates

He sold me a ra4 and I got a ra3 trust me I tried to update as a ra4 and it won't work I had to update as ra3, don't have hd radio and extra nav options like a RA4

Either way I got th **** end of the stick and he didn't even offer to pay for a map update

His response is that it. "It does"

He gave me a vin to update the radio and it does not work since the vin is tied to a ra4 radio not ra3, if I got the ra4 radio like the ad stats it would have loaded just fine
