have a 2019 Laramie with the 8.4 Uconnect .. do i have to have the radio on to use the navigation? it looks to me like i do, but was hoping there is a switch, check mark, someplace that i missed. Downloaded and read the WHOLE 692 page manual and it is mostly NO help.

The head unit must be powered up for NAV operation.

As far as the radio running, on my truck I just turn the volume to "0" or I hit the "Mute" button. I've never been able to use NAV without the head unit powered on or with the head unit set on one of the audio functions to start NAV.

the scale on my nav. screen reverts to 400ft. after a few seconds no matter what scale I set it on..kind of annoying to have to keep zooming out to look for something farther down the road..is there a way to make it hold the scale if I zoom out.
