Rail Protector bending up after backrack install

Hi Guys, I had a backrack installed last fall. Now with the higher temps the rail protector on the sides of the box it is starting to fold, bend, curl upwards. You can barley see it above the rear tire in the pic. I'm assuming from the heat. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to remedy it. Thanks

Mine does it on the passenger side. The only thing I could say is check that they cut out the hole and the bolt not pushing on the rail cap. Or you can buy plates that go under the side brackets to distribute the pressure of where the rack bolts up

I also am having this issue. I have a t bed cover on. Both side are bending/ bowing up.
