Its all 3/16 plate, But yeah Ill throw gussets there as well! It didnt even cross my mind for some reason ( Well im full retard ) ..lol..
I'd make the gussets so they go almost out to your strap mounting hole. The longer the gusset, the better the load carrying ability it'll have

The top mounting point will be the first point to take the load, and will be the weak point if there is any weak points
I agree the top mounting is the weak point, since the force is downward you could support it from below as well as above.
I was thinking it was the same on the bottom as it is on the top.
I agree on extending the support almost to the bolt hole.

Look how small Dirt Kings limit straps bracket are. Pretty sure mine should hold up now. :dogpile:

No Gussets and 1 bolt. So the downforce cant be as bad as I thought.

I will cut the top tab off and add my bolt to the inside instead.

I like how they use the existing hole in the frame for the dirt king setup

My frame dosent have those 2 holes. Not sure when they started, is it for Air suspension ?
I think it’s actually to the rear of the coilover not the front for theirs. I have an oval hole behind the coilover on my truck. In the front I have 2 hex shaped holes in the frame for the rivnuts that look like it’s for the air suspension.

Got my brackets done today. Found some 10.9 Factory bolts in my parts bin, And figured out what I need for the rear limit straps.

Rear will be way easier. Just shear tabs, Weld a plate on the bump stop plate and 10" straps. Also limiting 1 " of down travel.

I need to measure my CV angles but that looks like it may still be more than mine at full drop

New Gen 4 Cvs this time instead of Gen 3 witch are shorter.

These one seem to bind just a bit still, but they are also destroyed... lol...

Ill raise it until I get no binding when I get my new ones.

Good news. replacement Cardone HDs just shipped.

This is the last time I buy CVs online. Shipping them back for warrenty ended up costing me more then buying them local.

I will praise Parts Avatar for not making me buy the same ones. They could of easily done that.
