Ram 2500 6.4 what exhaust?

What exhaust or muffler would you suggest? Don’t want to brake the bank either haha. I want something louder then stock but not really loud. Also pull a travel trailer don’t want it to be annoying when doing so. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you guys.

I have a 2018 ram 2500 6.4 I had a flowmaster 44 put on, nice rumble. I did not remove the resonator because I pull a 37ft pull behind Rv with mine. Local shop did mine for 200.00

we got some muffler kits we can offer. we have a Solo Performance muffler delete kit which will probably be louder than you want and then the brand new MR400 muffler kit. These are just a muffler replacement kit and are less expensive than a full cat back. If you would like a full cat back we have a few other options that we can offer depending on your budget. Any pictures of what this looks like. Is it just the muffler then your local shop ran the rest of the pipe? I’ve only ever purchased complete cat back kits

The exhaust looks like factory cause they only replaced the muffler and added some pipe.

2014 2500 6.4L crew cab. Did a Magnaflow single in/single out muffler, had a resonator delete done at the same time by the exhaust shop.

Very happy with my 14” magnaflow with resonators removed. Not too quit, not annoyingly loud.

How quiet is the MR400?

I wouldn't call it quiet but it's certainly not overly loud. It's pretty tame at idle and cruise but really opens up WOT. It has a nice deep rumble. Remember this keeps the resonator as well so it's not crazy loud.

I know it's hard to say, but is it as quiet as the 22" Magnaflow #12909 with the OEM resonator left in place? If the 6.4 exhaust just had the little rumble like the 1500s do I'd be happy, but this factory setup sounds like a hair dryer. I just don't want to hook onto a 10+K pound toy hauler and dread every minute of it.

It would be louder than that magnaflow muffler. thats a pretty big muffler

We are in the same boat man. I want the truck to sound like a truck but I don’t want my wife mad about the sound inside the cab when towing or just in general.

I have a Solo Delete on my 6.4 and love it. It really woke the Hemi up. There’s not much of a drone with it either. Normal volume conversation in the cab so it’s not loud inside. My wife gets migraines a lot and the sound of my truck doesn’t bother her.

that is the amazing part of the delete pipe kit. Its very tame during cruising. Cold start and WOT is beastly loud but during cruise its not loud in the cab at all
